Dankest No-Bake Cookies on Planet Earth

seriously though…i made these last night and have had 2 for breakfast ha I learned this recipe when I was living in india with no oven and one tiny gas burner. The easiest (vegan) recipe for cookies ever.

BOIL (2-5min):
2/3 C milk (almond, soy, whatevs)
1-1/2 C white sugar
1/2C brown sugar
1/2 butter (or oil)
1/4C Cocoa

Remove from heat—-ADD:
3C dry oatmeal (you can add ground flaxseed here if you want or other yummy nuts)
1-1/2C peanut butter (i prefer crunchy—im sure you could substitute any nut butter here)
1Tbl vanilla (if you’re in the boonies and you can’t find vanilla…have no fear they still taste great without it)
also here—you can add any spices you like, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg…whatever you usually like in cookies.
Mix until delicious—
drop onto wax paper (or foil) into little balls and put in the freezer 3hrs to harden.
I’d keep these in the fridge in general tho..they can get a little mushy if they sit out after being hardened in the freezer.
ENJOY!
